@IcedFreon Can confirm same thing happening to me. Usually after 2-3 deaths when using a character that character will become greyed out. Then it happens again more regularly after the first time (Xbox one original).
All I can do is click A fast on another character until they are selected and then try and go back to select the original character who then stops being greyed out, but this sometimes doesn't work.
