Interesting how rare crafting parts...

Interesting how rare crafting parts are later in the game. I have pretty much focused on making star cards for one specific hero and abandon any focus on other classes/heroes.. problem is now, I am scurring around looking for any way to get more crafting parts since later on it becomes very expensive to uograde star cards. 25 here, 5 there, its just not enough to make a significant difference in my star cards at this point.

What im afraid of is at this rate a few more in game hours, i will have to rely soley on the crate system for crafting parts, which truly offers an insignicant amount or parts within each roll of a crate compares to the necessary amount needed to upgrade star cards.

Extremely aggrivating if i say so myself.
Has anyone heard any updates on possible fixes for the lack of crafting parts offered later ingame?

  • I agree completely. I will admit I purchaged $20 worth of crystals the first day I played and had no idea what I was doing. I still have 1000 cyrstals I haven't spent yet. However, crafting parts are coming up rarely. Even in the crates there aren't that many, and yet the crates is where you can fiind the most. I'm havin the most fun in the space vehicles maps (flying X-Wings) and I'm only Rank 9 after many hours of playtime. Even when I reach Rank 10 and can finally upgrade my level 1 cards, I have only enough crafting parts for a single ship type.

I don't get it...some MMOs would make the "grind" very slow. But this game isn't a MMO - it's just a PvP shoot-em-up, like Overwatch or CS:GO (only much better!) I don't understand the need for such a punishing grind.

In the first week this game dropped, I've read all about how long it would take to unlock Luke and Vader. Well, I had enough credits to unlock those guys before Rank 5. Crafting Parts are very rare and hard to come by. The crates are not at all useful for advancing since there are too many "vanity" items (battle stances and quotes.)

Yeah crafting parts are so slow to grind.

What's worse is that level 4 cards are 480 crafting parts a piece.

I played about 15 hours last weekend for one card upgrade.

It was Boba Fett's barrage ability and it is awesome, but there are only a small handful more appreciably powerful cards left that I'm willing to work for. Eventually I'll be putting in that many hours for what? 2% cooldown reduction on abilities for my second favorite class?

It pretty much is all about ego at that point, having a full set of purples for your character for the sake of having a full set of purples...

To get full purples for everything is going to take a couple thousand hours of play time...

I honestly couldnt agree more, its just amazing to think whats to come at this pace. I am a level 17 or 18 i believe and have only used my crafting parts on my one hero boba fett who has a star level of 16. I am depleted in crafting parts at this point in my progress at this point in the game, granted my boba fett character is good, he still needs more work therfore the lack of crafting parts does not help.

I couldnt imagine if i was sharing my crafting parts between classes and other characters... id have a group of medicore characters to this point..

I hope other players start to see the hand writing on the wall and see how EA has dropped the ball again.

Haha i hear you, im really looking for sets of purples for of coyrse vanity reasons at this point. Although yes, boba's rocket barrage is amazing lol.
  • What they should do is give you crafting parts rather than credits when you get a duplicate but that`s EA for ya
