This is still happening, please fix this soon
The old mechanic of pressing zoom (LT console, no idea on PC) and immediately pressing RT to have it "fire when ready" is outdated. New mechanic is that you have to press LT to have it zoom/charge (without pressing anything else), and when it locks (screen goes red), then you press RT to fire. It's different, but it works.
