I can't use properly my logitech joystick controller.The game settings only allow me to edit Keyboard or Mouse settings. I can't override.Besides it seems the game since the last patch does not recognise the input of the joystick properly. Before I could play but could not update settings. Right now my aircraft is unplayable at all.Please help or solve the issue.I have spent the whole evening trying to make it work. But I give up. This is not normal ! How is it hard to make some joystick work ?

If you don't already, maybe try installing a 3rd party device mapping tool like I use (Pinnacle Game Profiler, Padstar, Joy2Key) and leave the settings at default. PGP seems to recognize when a controller is hot-plugged in and I've tried it with a gamepad and an old joystick. Another reason it works for me might be that my devices are using native windows drivers.The workaround can help but this seriously needs fixing fast because the game is crippled for some players.

This might help. I use a ps3 type gamepad controller but the workaround also worked with a joystick.

It does not work. When I plug my flight controller while the game is launched, nothing works at all. Like if the game doest not notice it is plugged.

Try anything and everything because official help seems to be a long way off. You can always back-up, uninstall and reinstall the Logitech profiler if it doesn't work. The only drawback is Joystick support in other games will probably break but you can set-up profiles for those too.

The pinnacle game profile enables me to emulate an Xbox 360 Controller. And when I set up the game in left hand mode, I can control the aircraft.
But it seems the other input are not working properly. Some of them do the same action, some do nothing.
In the edit settings menu, it does not detect when I press a button, and when you try to assign an action to an already used key, you have an error message.

Having the same issue. Flightstick was working perfectly before the patch. Now it has no input. Now I can't fly.................
