Issue with F2 button. Star wars Battlefront 2

Hi guys.

I have a problem playing Star wars battlefront 2. In simple I played most of the game without using the the fourth ability (the one at the bottom), but now I'm in a mission where it seems to be obligatory use that ability. The problem is that when I push F2 my PC lowers the brightness (as it should be), so I changed the button from the mapping menu with a random one but it doesn't work, it's always displayed the F2 button and not the new one. But there's more, when I push on the new one button the game tell me that I'm pressing the F2 (obv not true) and nothing happens.

I wish you could help me.

    @jayaz98 So far the only solution I have found is to plug an Xbox controller into your computer to use the airstrike.

    @jayaz98 I have had the same problem and can no longer bear it due to me being stuck on the battle of Jakku, because you need to press F2 to activate the binox to call in the airstrike. After I realized this I immediately took to the controls settings to change the key bind, then I realize when I change the key bind lets say to Z (because its a free key bind) it still says that the key bind is F2 and when I press Z all this does is make the icon that says F2 go away. If you could please resolve this issue that would be greatly apricated, due to this issue I can no longer proceed in the story.
