My issue is related to this one (which appeared to be the newest post regarding scan dart), and I'm glad to see that all scan abilities are being looked at.
In my case, it seems that nobody else on my team can ever see the red dots on the radar or the highlighting that I usually see when I use scan dart. I remembered this being a problem awhile ago, but for some reason I never bothered to ask again if any of my teammates were seeing my highlights at all. It's still generally useful to me, but I now feel bad for getting assist points when my scanning actually didn't assist anyone after all. I feel worse that I keep calling out when I throw a scan dart, hoping to help my teammates even if I'm far away, and now I know that it never revealed anything to them! How embarrassing.
More closely related to the original post, there are times that someone sneaks through my scan, and I used to think I was just somehow missing seeing them for some reason, but now I'm suspecting this was just me getting bitten by the abovementioned intermittent failure of this ability.
