A good compromise here is not forcing matchmaking.  If players want to bolt from a lobby, they can push the Matchmake button.

This way the logic can continue to get tweaked while allowing people happy with their current lobby to stay where they are.

I think I may have to say this every day until it gets implemented.  LOL
