Local multiplayer

My brother and I are playing SWBT, and we play using his account, making him “player 1”, and me “player 2”.  We normally play using split screen on the same device, and the game always labels me as “guest”.  This makes me have to redo any mods, blasters, and star cards I have equipped each time I want to play.  I have an account, and would like to use it when we play.  Does anyone know how I can play using my account and he can play using his at the same time?

    Unfortunately, you can’t. It’s how the game works.

    Try have Player2 use the same account every time he plays

    That is what we are trying to figure out.  I want to use my account when we play split screen, but I can’t figure out how.
