More frequent crashes to Xbox home screen since BB update

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug Game crashes to Xbox home screen during matches.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? nrobh
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 02/07/2020
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 11:00 PM
In what game mode did the bug occur? Heroes vs. Villains
What is your time zone? EST (IET) - GMT - 5:30
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play HvV on Xbox until it crashes.
What happens when the bug occurs? The match freezes and then the game exits to the Xbox home screen.
What do you expect to see? The game not crash.

In the 2 or so years since launch, I've had the game crash to the Xbox home screen maybe once or twice during a match (~1600 hours of gameplay). Since the BB update, it has crashed 3 times over the span of 2 days. Thank you in advance for looking into this.

    Hey @nrobh  could you try to power cycle the console and see if that helps out. 🙂 

    How to power cycle: 

    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
      Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn it on.

    Still crashes after doing these steps 3 times. Always during the middle of a game. Literally the only game out of my 25 game collection that does this. No point in continuing to play if I have an anxiety it'll crash at any point.

    Hey @jc311277 do you crash to game menu or console main and do you get an error code?

    @EA_Atic no the game freezes and after about 3 seconds the game closes. It's weird because some nights I play and get this issue I'll do a full Xbox reboot I won't get this issue again the whole night but other times I'll get it maybe 3 times in one night after a full reboot

    My game been doing this since the February 3 2020 update and I would like to play game and I have had the game since November 14 2017 and my game never done this before and I would I like to play my game please and thanks
