Mouse interfering with gamepad

I would like to play the air vehicles with my gamepad and play ground units (soldiers) with mouse and keyboard but when i activate my gamepad to fly the mouse interferes and makes everything haywire. Can i disable the mouse when i fly? i cant find an option that gives the possibility to temporary disable the mouse when flying?
