@ArchAngeL-PCXThey could've used the Star Destroyers as well as rebel dreadnoughts as capital ships.
But yeah, maybe this was planned but when the order to pull the plug came all of a sudden, they had to finish everything in time. How? Well, their own problem.
No wonder the update didn't unfold it's full possible potential.

Hm,Either a nebulon-b frigate or an mc80 for rebels or an arquentis(correct me on that) light cruiser or a ISD(sad not-enough-ot-content during life cycle sobbing noises)

@chicosim73Then answer me following: If you're a publisher and EA tells you to end game support, will you openly complain about it or rather try to change and add what can be done and then add an "our vision is complete" to the end so it looks better overall for both sides?
Even if they wouldn't include new stuff anymore, continued support also means being able to fix bugs which is now out of question as well.
We could've get even more with continued support, even it was just a dreadnought phase for OT supremacy mode. Though when someone just announces to pull your plug you need to do what is possible to do in that time.
So nope, no vision is truly complete just because someone was kinda forced to leave this statement.
