No Internet at all ONLY When Battlefront 2 is Running

Like many others, I'm having massive issues connecting to the Battlefront 2 servers. I've tried everything I can think of to resolve the problem: change dns, flush the system, don't think it's a firewall issue, etc. 

the weird part is, I can connect to origin fine before starting the game, can use the internet normally etc. However, when the game is running I can't use the internet. As in, when the game is running but minimized I can't use the internet at all. I'll open a browser and get a connection error or a timeout. 

Any idea what this might be about? I haven't been able to connect to the servers in a long time.
