Is this an issue with just the game or any game, it sounds like an issue with your console if it is making noises and I suspect it is either its hard drive or cd tray/laser
Have you tried cleaning your console?

All consoles have moving parts, they can collect dust quite quickly, I work in a school IRL as an IT tech, some PCs there only got a clean in august and yet a week after I was called out to clean it again as it was overheating.
It all depends on;
- Geographical location
- How active the location is with people
- Pets
- Does food get eaten near or next to the console (crumbs actually get sucked up)
