You sure this wasn't on Hero Showdown? The 2v2 mode only with heroes? Because that mode during triple XP does give the standard amount due to a BUG I exposed more then a year ago and that unfortunately wasn't ever addressed.
If it's HvV indeed, then it's new to me.
I think the issue is the triple XP ends with CEST time zone at midnight on a Wednesday. Since DICE are based in Sweden they go by a Wednesday for their time zone. Not sure if this is intentional but this is what I heard and it makes sense since I'm behind CEST and I get triple XP on a Tuesday night

That makes sense. My triple XP always starts Tuesday night as well, and it goes until a bit before Wednesday turns into Thursday.
