I'm just commenting here for a CM to see.
These are lingering bugs ever since launch, sometimes presenting themselves, sometimes not. For me, Scan Dart is 100% bugged, but Boba's scan works with a 50-50 chance, same with the thermal binos... No idea.
What's certain is that the reveal functions are all bugged in some form.
Somehow sad that it is not repaired 9 month later, like the soundbug and the matchmaking. I mean I understand they had a lot to do on the whole crate issue but nevertheless these are core abilities of the characters. Also no wonder that the officer was so popular/ overplayed with scans of assault and specialist not working.
On top of that, it makes some Star Cards totally useless. Improved Scan Dart does nothing (but better!), same for Boba's Information Sharing or whatever its name is.
With Bossk, it's a 50-50 chance that you get murdered by some low-level noob trooper guy, simply because his ability - that should highlight everyone - simply makes people look like part of the environment.
Same with Lando, but that's better, since you can check if it is working really fast.
Just today, I've had some pretty good players on my team, who seemed to use Scan Dart at perfect moments, but couldn't utilise these opportunities - yet I wonder, does it work for them? Or are they just hoping that it works for others? :D
Bumping this thread again.
For me, the reveal issues are in the top3 with the zero-effect Force bugs and inability to return to the main menu.
Thanks for the bump. I actually stopped playing for over 6 months. Recently started playing again to get my heroes to lvl 40...
Astounded this still has not been fixed when it has such a huge impact on game play.
Guess EA just doesn't care. rip
