Could be the issue I'm having. Using Nvidia drivers too. I am finding the game incredibly unstable, weirdly played Beta and all other sneak peaks at the game without issue.
But with the retail release of the game I crash.....
1) Whenever first playing a map I've not played before in Galactic Assault mode.
2) Occasionally when I die.
3) Some times randomly on spawn.
4) When spawning as a Special Class (Wookiee for example).
5) In the menus customising my kit, yeah, when not even in game.
6) Most annoyingly, in Single Player whenever I have to play her droid's segments, crashes me at some point in it's sequence without fail. Which makes that pretty much unplayable.
I hadn't noticed just how bad it is until tonight as I'd been playing mostly Starfighter Assault which appears to be really stable as I've not had any issues with it. But tonight on playing Galactic Assault I had in total one round that I did not crash out of. Which is just ridiculous. It is shameful to release a game in such a shoddy buggy state. If it is a driver incompatibility issue or something they'd best get on it sharpish.
I've not tried any fixes my end as I'm pretty sure it is a driver issue. Anyhow my specs are as follows:
Intel Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz
32GB (RAM)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 GPU
Windows 8
Oh, and am on 388.13 too, so will try the latest Driver now and see how we do.
So the first DLC is out and the core game is still broken?
I have PC specs which are not optimum, but still way above the minimum specs to run the game, when allowing the game to automatically detect the settings I should be able to use I should be able to have my graphics set to high, and yet on high or even medium I am still plagued with these stupid crashes, the only way to play the game in anything approaching a stable condition is to play on all low settings, and while this does allow me to play, the game looks butt ugly compared to the way I should be able to play it. It is ridiculous that we are coming up to the end of the year, the first DLC patch is out and yet these issues have still yet to be resolved.
Come on EA/DICE, pull your finger out. I expect better.

Did anyone ever get a fix to work for this, I bought the game during the start of this year, and this problem with display drivers have made it an unplesent experience to play.

It's not an Nvidia issue...this stuff goes on for AMD folks as well. It's a game issue. Everyone keeps trying to figure out what the deal is and how we can circumvent the issue, but the fact remains...EA/DICE need to fix their game.

My problem is I can sit and play the game. I have no lag, running with a 70-90 FPS. And suddenly the game freeze and says that the display driver for nvidia has stopped working and has been recovered. Never ahd this problem with any games before, and it's only Battlefront 2 I meet this problem. And sometimes after the crash, the game start crashing every time I try to start it again.
