Officer Turret

This can happen if there are officers in close proximity of the turret. The turret/s will continually repair. Are you able to verify that there were are no officers next to or near the turrets you are attempting to shoot? 

Hey, I'm pretty sure that there were no Officers around, and at one point there were two of us shooting at it, for quite a long time, before the Officer came and killed us both.  I also sent a message to one of my friends after the game and he said he noticed it too, so it ain't just me that noticed something was odd.  In saying that, I can't say 100% that yes, there were no Officers around.  I'll play some more and let you know.

Not sure if this is your issue, but if there is more than one officer around, they will heal very fast and be difficult to take down.  So if say 3 officers were hiding out near their turrets, the turrets pretty much need to be taken down with ion torpedos, regular shooting won't do it.  

Cheers, like I said, I can't be 100% sure but I don't recall seeing any Officers around.  They could have, like you say, been hiding around the corner, but It was a little odd to me, as  I've never encountered this before, and I've been playing this since release!  I'll keep my eyes peeled!

@ongaku75 have to say I play as an officer regularly and people never seem to have any issues destroying my turrets if i'm not stood next to them. Could be a bug of some sort, or worse... a mod/hack from the opposing player? Like you say it's a little odd that you have this issue! 🤨

Yep, that's what I thought, a bug/or a hack, and yes, I've never had trouble taking down a turret before, it was very odd!
