Besides, you don't have to upgrade your PC or buy a new game console, so that's very advantageous for everyone if DICE will revive Battlefront II.

some of the problems with BF2 have been around so long and the Devs know about them there’s legit zero other reasons why they hadn’t been addressed when they pulled the plug.
there was an intermediate period when this game was actually pretty descent and they were on a good track but they lost perspective and added so many conditional variables that the game just can’t properly handle that they don’t know how to work it out anymore.
Regardless of whether there is a BF3 or not gamers will evolve their platforms natively due to the industry. They’d be better off to start from scratch.
All right, to each their own at this point. We'll see what happens after Battlefield 6 will be released.
