Hmm, yeah you're on Xbox. Perhaps this pixelation is done intentionally as some kind of performance optimization.

It shouldn't be because games like bf1 and titanfall don't have pixalated smoke and fire

    I have'nt played BF1 (Assuming thats Battlefield 1) or Titanfall, but Mass Effect Andromeda was the same way. The reflections on shiny surfaces were all pixelated and some of the effects were like that.
