Then, content such as Ahsoka, Ventress, the Mandalorian Din Djarin and Moff Gideon. A new map, new game modes, etc.
Finally, bug fixing such as the duplicate hero glitch, the overheating issue on consoles mostly on Xbox and finally other bugs.

They need a new start.

They need FIRST to update Battlefront II with a final big update BEFORE starting development on a new Battlefront game but to each their own at this point.

@ToddyRocket1, agree/ We definitely need a new start and a new model of how battlefront plays, we also need a model of what battlefront is supposed to be,.. is it a hero saber smash’em up or is it a shooter. For me personally this game can’t die fast enough so focus can move on to the next production, that’s if and when we even have one. If not then it is what it is and it’s our only choice along with battlefront 15.
I do hope they keep the battlefront series going though, loved 15 and it was worthy of a lot longer service life imo, they should have never dumped it for bf2 and just added the content from bf2. If a 3 is done I hope they keep the infantry and gun play of 15, along with all the good modes or that game, and keep the hero play of bf2.

@xProdicateI just hope that they'd do the gadget and gunplay better better than even BF2015. It often came just down to who had the better weapon and the better gadget. Like all aim didn't matter enough when the opponent just brought the EE-4 or other cheesy gadget to save himself.
The problem in Battlefront imo is that the weapon and gadget differences in both games are just so extreme and arcadey that most of the stuff the game offers us isn't even used because this weapon or that gadget is in reality just better than all others unless you want to play a very different and situation-specific role.
The same trend is unfortunately also present in e.g. Battlefield 1.
I really miss games like BF 3 where we had a ton of weapons that allowed to differ more everywhere so you could chose what suits your style the best and what exact drawbacks you want to deal with. While some weapons were generally better for e.g. close quarters, it always (the final game version) felt like a rather minor advantage due to the stats usually not being so extremely far away from each other and like aim mattered more overall.
In Battlefront 2 and Battlefield 1 it feels like you have some few weapons that are only really good for certain purposes and if you find that they don't fit your style, bad luck for you. There is no middle ground, either go for what's best for that specific role and use it only for that or exploit an error of the devs and be that guy who uses some overpowered guns.
Also 3rd person, combat rolls, minimap tracers (those wedges you see just because someone is running) and no penalties for hipfiring is cancer imo and should be removed from Battlefront. Though I'm not optimistic to see any change in that is it's a tradition of this game series.
