Pressing L1 and R1 together crashes Battlefront 2

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game, specifically as a Rocket Trooper, and try to equip your rocket by pressing L1 and R2 at the same time. It crashes ALL. THE. TIME.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game crashes and gives you the blue screen of death error - "An error has occurred in the following applications (CE-34878-0)"
What do you expect to see? I expect to see me equipping my rocket to blow up rebel scum.

I have submitted *hundreds* of bug reports on Battlefront 2 in the last three years, so I can only assume you haven't read a single one of them. Hopefully, you read this one because this error has plagued the game for three years now and it makes it almost unplayable.

As often as possible, I play a rocket-based character, both Empire and Resistance/Rebel. et. al. The game crashes with extreme frequency when I press L1 and R1 together to equip the rocket. Immediately upon pressing the buttons at the same time, the game crashes and I get the "An error has occurred in the following applications (CE-34878-0)" on the blue screen of death, upon which I leave you all a love note of just how much I appreciate your efforts in not fixing this bug for three years now. 

It can't be that hard to debug. Just play a Rocket Droid or a Rocket Trooper and press your L1 and R1 buttons at the same time to equip your rocket (for best results, do it in battle) to get an instant blue screen of death. It usually happens in battle but it also happens when nobody else is around me and nothing is going on (shooting, explosions, etc.). It also happens in every single game mode I have played.

I have tried literally every "fix" listed in your forums, on YouTube, Reddit, etc. on both of my systems. Nothing. Fixes. This. I get the same results on both my PS4 and PS4 Pro, so I know it is a game coding issue and not a console issue. Of course, you would know this if you looked at my hundreds of crash reports. 

Three years...three friggin' years I have been submitting crash reports and you still haven't addressed it. Please...and I mean it from the bottom of my heart...pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease fix this.
