Hey @jalanoptu try power cycle to console and see if that helps.
How to power cycle:
- Turn of the console
- Unplug the power cable
- Wait 30 seconds
- plug the cable in
- Start the console back up
- Try SWBF2 again.

This problem has also happened to me. The game downloaded and launches fine, but whenever I try to load into a game in singleplayer, multiplayer, or co-op, it’s freezes. I tried everything you said, but nothing has changed. I cleared lots of storage and still no results. My WiFi signal is good, but I think it’s a bug in the game. I look forward to getting a reply because I’m really looking forward to start playing this game!!!!

@cilliancleary05 I assume you are on PS4?
Have you tried any of the above recommendations?
Is the game installed on external or internal HDD?

@EA_Atic Thanks for your reply.
I am on PS4. I’ve tried power cycling, re downloading the game and freeing up storage, and still no results. The game fully installed and I could play the arcade whilst it was downloading in game smoothly. I haven’t been able to play ever since as the game would crash with the same message coming up every time Error CE-34878-0 after 30 minutes with the loading bar frozen.
The game is not installed to an internal or external HDD, but I can’t see how storage is the issue when I’ve deleted many big games and still nothing has changed. I’m dying to play this game but I can’t. I’ve wanted this game for ages and I was over the moon to see it on the ps plus monthly games, but have been left disappointedI hope we can resolve this issue,
Cillian

@cilliancleary05 Thanks for the update!
I do recommend to take a look on what Sony suggests with that error code here: https://www.playstation.com/en-ie/get-help/help-library/error-codes/ce-34878-0/

I have had battlefront on disk for around 3 years now and I have had to delete it once or twice for storage space. The first time I did it when I re-downloaded it it was fine and the in game download only took around 20 minutes. I started to get bored of it so I deleted it, then I got ps plus which allowed me to play online with friends. So I downloaded it again but, this time when the in-game download started it went straight to 30 percent but didn’t move at all. I waited over an hour but it still stayed at 30. Please can someone help me.
