is this for the sake of profit? Other games are doing this why are you guys not focusing on this? This seems a bit greedy considering all the money you guys Shurly made off of the loot boxes. Oh that's right you guys aren't calling those boxes their surprise boxes or something. All the same was one of the largest companies in the industry you think EA would be on The Cutting Edge of things that actually benefit the consumer this kind of this is why you guys are one of the most hated companies in the industry let me fix that you guys are the most hated company in the industry.
I'm not sure that I agree with how upset the gamer is but. Honestly cross platform would improve sales I play on PC my son uses ps4. For player like me that are devoted playing when I have time it would help so much so there is hardly or any down time keeping people more interested in a game that for no logical reason you can level to 1000 I love the game. Just thinking this would be alot more alluring to keep players coming back do does not die out like battle front 1
NO!...PC players will bring to much cheating to the community.
The loot boxes, if you actually paid attention could be earned by in game credits, only someone of little self control, money to burn, or who has little understanding of the game overall would spend real money on a card upgrade, but because the publisher knows their are impatient people it was to be their as an alternative to earning it through the game.
The game has been out 2 years, theirs not that much of a dent that can be made in sales at this point
If anything they should take everything learned from this game and start developing BF3
Cross compatibility would solve a ton of server problems on PC in Australia. I'd be forever grateful. The game is almost completely dead most of the time and when it's peak hours there are only two or three game modes you can play.
- @raidernaphtali Yeah no I don't think cheating is the problem that pc brings, a mouse and keyboard is more optimal for fps games than a controller and that might mean that controller players wont get to enjoy the game and much. I'm not saying that a console player is worse than a PC player cause their are really good console players but I'm trying to say that it will give an advantage to PC players.
Battlefront2 is crap on pc
now that ps4 will be supporting corss platform is there a chance of change on this? just cause it would help keep the online alive for longer, it seems quieter lately and i feel like that puts off potential new players, people trying the game on subscription services might decide the game is too quiet if they end up playing at quieter times of day and be prevented from becoming long term players, surely cross platform would help avoid this?
could you guys make this topic as a consideration? for the sake of the PC community. We are dying, and you know it. Please ☹️
Hello. I'm a PC player and noticed that PS4 is cross platform now for all developers. There are some friends of mine who play Battlefront 2 on PS4 and would like to join me and Visa versa. Will this be possible sometime soon?
I have bought the game on my ps4 will it go onto origin if i sign in on the same account,
- @HRW957 im in australia on pc and i was wanting to get this game, is it worth it on pc ?

@HRW957im in australia on pc and i was wanting to get this game, is it worth it on pc ?The Australian PC community is pretty weak but it does exist and there is a discord server which helps. Games are very hard to find during the day but you'll get one after 7pm pretty easily 90% of the time. The game regularly goes on sale on Origin for $6. I recommend checking Origin regularly until you can get it for $6 because it is not worth paying full price for it. If you're going to pay full price or you own a console just get it on console. I've nevered played it on console but I hear it's better.
- @raidernaphtali its really not about the loot boxes, its about being able to play with people on other consoles/PCs.. granted more PC players do cheat, but in a game that u pay for, less likely because they have software that bans the entire IP address. So in other words i think cheating would only be a temporary problem
- @Nickgough606 says a mirage lol.. jk buddy, dont keyboard warrior my *
who tf cheats on battle front, the most casual shooter ever.
Mais juste faite le cross Play sur Battlefront 2 puis vous recommencerai vau otre projet et en même temps sa amiliorai votre réputation
ok so a loyal Star Wars fan playing on PC with Rider cheat than enjoy the game if they have even a good anti cheat system I'll be hard to cheat in this game.
aka you are a ps4 peasant.
why do you dont do crosplay platform?????????????????????????????????????????????????? pls everyone needs it
- @lightmaro Console has also brought in mouse and keyboard support, maybe battlefront 2 can optimise that mechanic too?
- @EA_Ataashi Not “accepted” lol
- @EA_Ataashi I think you should reconsider, since the amount of time you wait for other players to join basically every other game mode than republic supremacy, is insane. The “players needed” is just sad, since it’s a good game... People don’t want to play a game if they can’t join any matches 🙂

Then there is the lack of auto aim for controllers, then PC cheaters.
PS to XboX, sure, but PC has too many advantages, some legit, some not so much.
I don't think it will be a problem if their anti cheat works. There are already players with modded controllers on console that use online bought "advantages" as it is. I been told by a few players where to buy one. So bringing PC is nothing.
