I had the same issue this morning.

May it be that you use any Steelseries products?

For me it caused and solved the issue by adjusting the mouse settings.

Check the mouse acceleration at win settings.

Win settings > devices > mouse > further options > pointer setting > switch off acceleration

I had exactly the same problem and solve it in the same way that for Battlefront 1: Disable Origin in game

Hope it will also fix this old EA - Origin - Battlefront problem

I had the same issue without having Team Viewer installed, but you solved it .. ty!!

That doesnt work. When i click the disable button it doesnt disable it

Yep as of 9/7/2018 disabling origin overlay, discord overlay and nvidia geforce experience overlay makes the mouse and keyboard work

How has this not been fixed yet?!!!  Had this issue today, and thankfully found this fix.

This is crazy that a year after this issue was first reported that it's still an issue.

And caused by their own game app!!!

Disabling the "in game" in the app makes it impossible to accept game invites, so it's a double edge sword.

I guess EA were super salty about having to revamp this entire game with regard to their loot box pay wall, and it shows that they simply decided to just not spend another dime on it.

Thanks m8 fixed my problem, luckily I didn’t do a clean download before I tried this 

It was the Origin Overlay that was causing this in my case.  I disabled into the Origin application settings.  No longer have the problem.
