Not an employee but while you wait for the fix, let me offer you something.
If the game worked before the update then it is possible your game is NOT completely loaded. Meaning the files are there but have not been played from memory in the Xbox.
Try this, Unplug the game, from the wall and pull the game. Then hit any button on the console to remove static. Wait 10 mins. This is to allow the connection between you and EA to stop. Reset your modem and WiFi router. This will get you a clean start.
Plug in your game and Xbox. Launch the game but let it fully boot or load. Give it a couple minutes to get to the Lobby..
If it doesn't work, you now have what is known as a Hard reset completed and will give you the best chance. Worked for me... GLHF.
