Re: Empty Servers

Do not believe anyone telling you there are ways to fix this
it's been going on for months
EA and DICE know about it and apparently will be fixing it in late August
but don't hold your breath
they are turning a blind eye to this ping issue and ANYONE trying to tell you its not their servers is straight out lying and covering up the companies lack of ability to fix the issue
but hey
(Look over there it's the return of Palpatine, Ewoks and a double XP weekend ....tough s**t that you can't get into any games to use them)

    It also sucks that we still have like 5 years in that contract by Lucasfilm and EA. I REALLY hope that they actually regret signing the contract because EA has really screwed up SWBF. I also would not be surprised if an EA mod came over and deleted these messages. Thanks for telling me the truth.

    i have received a 1 day and a 3 day ban for talking about this on the EA SWBF2 fourms
    their justification
    I used all caps to say
    'when don't you fix this'
    and calling developers idi0t5
    (changed to not offend them here (LOL)
    good luck mate remember you're not alone there are thousands of us not able to play the game

    I am sick of this
    i had an EA access account
    i have now deleted it and will never subscribe again
    if i want to play a game i'll buy it second hand and much cheaper than their smoke and mirror show

    I suggest if you have this you also delete it

    they will only change when the cash runs out

    Wow that's some bad publicity. It's not untrue though. I won't even touch another EA game until they get this game to work. FIFA 19 has already been f**ked off and I've literally bought every FIFA game since 95 on the mega drive(even during the years Pro Evo was way better I'd get both). 

    EA should surely be thinking it was a bad decision to make this game and not put maximum effort and investment. There are a lot of StarWars fans and believe it or not we also buy other games. I am one example where you guys doing a poor job making this game work is costing your other games. I doubt I'm alone. I don't mean to be harsh but EA and Dice really need to pull their fingers out or you probably ought to have a genuine fear of being out of jobs. I really like this game when it works, so for the sake of this potentially exceptional piece of software I ask the community managers and forum moderators to escalate threads like these to the higher ups so that more can be done to make this game function properly and for yourselves limit the amount of publicity you guys are receiving that follows the same lines as the link posted by @flashbackjack.

    Unfortunately you are not alone, I too have been an EA games buyer since what seems forever, even as far back as James Pond for the Amiga. 

    FIFA 95 was legendary, enjoyed NHL 98 immensely too. Ahhh... Simple times.

    You might have to explain to some folk what a Mega Drive is/was though.

    There was no bug reporting on that. There was no internet, lol.

    If it didn't work you switched it off and back on again.

    If it still didn't work you took out the cartridge and blew in it.

    Somehow a combination of air and spit seemed to fix anything!

    Has anyone tried this method for fixing Battlefront 2?

    Your forgetting the ultimate fix when all else failed bash the top, boom good as new lol. Yeah those were the days, a time where you could go out buy a game bring it home turn it on and it did exactly what it said on the box. Why do us gamers have to be so demanding its our own fault really, expecting something to perform as we are told it should. Fancy that.
