@erraticbaton7 Hey, you can contact support via the site here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/contact-ea-help/

This is definitely an odd one, your account progression doesn't show up like it does for most people, but I can see you have credits, crafting parts, and all the other normal parts of progression.

You can try restarting your system by holding your console's front button until it beeps and shuts down. This will clear the cache and might let the account sync up properly.

If that doesn't fix the issue after the restart - I suspect it wont - then you'll want to contact the support team.

    Thank you.

Thank you @EA_David. I have been chatting with support and am being told the only way to have my rank increase is through multiplayer. I do not have an xbox gold account and do not want to pay for it. Is it correct that the only way to make progress in the game is by paying more to play online?

  • That's what I get for assuming. I figured you were playing the game as multi-player to begin with... I mean, we all get into the campaign and arcade can be fun and the rewards are nice. But the game is meant to be a multi-player experience, that's where you obtain rank. When it's just you playing the story or set up matches against you and AI in arcade, what's the point of rank?

the point of rank for me would be to be able to upgrade player cards, which is where i stalled out and realized my rank was not moving up. (from my perspective the enjoyment of getting better is the same whether you are playing the computer in battles vs other people behind controllers...) i don't get why points don't actually go toward rank unless you are playing online. i guess i'm not a hardcore enough gamer. i wanted to play the game because i like being able to play in the star wars environment. but after dropping $60 on the game, i'm unwilling to pay more money to be able to play it online.

Ah, thank you for the extra information, I'll know to look out for this if I see anyone without any rank data in future.

Yes you'll need to play online to increase your rank and improve your cards, and thank you for the feedback.

  • The star cards really don't augment the single player experience much at all. They are usable in arcade, but truly aren't really needed. They see completely inapplicable in the campaign... As the cards are provided for you to choose from already there. So although you do need game rank to craft the higher levels of cards, unless you are playing multi-player, it's rather moot... Because you don't really need them how you're playing the game. This isn't KOTOR or other stand alone SW title. This game is designed and meant for multi-player. Just like the battlefield games are... Just like COD games are. Unfortunately, it seems you're in the wrong genre. It'd be like me buying some city and being upset that I can't play as one of the Sims in GTA style on the streets. It's not meant to be that kind of game. I'm sorry that it's turned out for you this way. I think it's * you have to pay all the extra money to whoever on consoles just to play games online....I don't even own a console, pretty much because of that aspect. I've been in PC land for many years. I hope you can get into the multi-player sometime for this game. It's really fun.... When the game isn't crashing lagging, and locking up. I'm really hoping EA gets it fixed up incredibly soon.

Thanks for the response! I appreciate your taking the time to explain what I'm missing in a non-condescending tone. I just got an Xbox One and the way games have changed since I was a kid is a steep learning curve! LOL

Do you have any advice on best games for solo play? No worries if you don't have the time or inclination to respond. Thanks either way!
