Re: Problem with launching Battlefront 2 on GefrorceNow

Hi @happyandruxa My guess is that GeforceNow requires you to select which platform you playing the game on, and Epic is not currently an option for SWBF2.

You will want to reach out to GeforceNow support for further assistance with accessing your game library or adding additional features.

Cheers!

Funny thing is GFN say you (Eletronic Arts) is who's hindering the availability of EA games sold on Epic Games Store on GeForce now... Who's telling the truth then? Because while two companies point fingers at each other, us gamers that have nothing to do with it pay the price (so to speak).

NV_Cory is an actual representative from NVidia, by the way.

@EA_Illium For NVIDIA to allow the Epic versions of EA games to work on their GeForce NOW service, Electronic Arts must allow that. This is the universal truth of GeForce NOW - game publishers remain in control of their content.

If you have authoritative information that NVIDIA is indeed allowed to enable the Epic versions of EA games, please do let me know that. I am in regular contact with NVIDIA GFN staff and can raise this issue with them...but PLEASE DO NOT GUESS.

Are you able to do this for us?

  • Just tried , got the error and read this. A big * You to whoever is not allowing the game to be played on GeForce now

2 years later and this is still an issue. You're talking about EA. They have been voted one of the worst companies in America multiple years in a row because they just don't care about their customers. They ignore us, do their own thing, then when we complain, they just think "They'll still buy our games." Any company that insists you use their launcher, even if you're already using a launcher like Steam or Epic, is garbage and should be avoided. We need to fight back with our money. Stop paying these criminals and maybe they'll get the hint.
