ABSOLUTELY BLOODY FINALLY!!!!!! Something got scuffed with Origin, cause I started having troubles with other games. I decided to uninstall everything origin BF2 and reinstall Origin, only thing is I decided to give the app another try (I had tried it back in march april I think but it didn't help same wouldn't install/repair anything garbage as Origin) So I installed the app, installed BF 2 still didn't work, but the issue was different. It CTD'd while ""optimizing shaders". That brought up a lot more helpful posts. All I had to do was go into documents->STAR WARS Battlefront 2->settings->opened boot settings in notepad changed the line "GstRender.EnableDx12 1" to "GstRender.EnableDx12 0" and hey presto I can load into a lobby. Havent' actually tried palying out a match yet cause it's late but finally!!
