You can fix the problem on PC, just click windows, and turn off the PC, flip the power switch to OFF for about 16 minutes or so, sometimes longer, and restart Battlefront 2.
After that you will have all your stuff back in your collection, this worked for me aswell, alltho sometimes it happens again and you have to reset it and do it again.

Any fixes for Xbox?
I don't know how to fix it on any other console like Xbox or PS, since i don't use those for Battlefront 2, but i recommend trying the same thing, open the menu and turn off the Xbox or PS from there, unplug the power cable, and reset the wifi.
