11. Be Darth Vader

For anyone who reads this and actually uses these tips. I'd like to point out that number 4 on this list, parrying is actually not an intended feature and a bug which dice left in the game unintentionally like many others. So if you become a parry exploiter like most of the "very skilled" player base, note you are actually exploiting a bug not a feature and it is in fact cheating.

@Bandicoot422Uhm... just that exploiting is in fact not cheating as no 3rd party software is involved here, like hack multitools or macros, and only the official game source is used.
Well, exploiting is surprisingly in fact a violation against EA's code of conduct though the interpretation of the violation grade is obviously difficult, even more how to enforce it.
(Probably only matters for official tournaments that feature EA titles and where exploits are present which are generally frowned upon, like wall-glitching.)
However, let's be real here: This is a homemade problem from the devs and exploiting can hardly be used as an argument to ban someone from a game and EA is well aware of that.
Else we might as well just ban like half of all BF II players, including all youtubers that presented these glitches within their videos as well.
Not to mention that these exploits in Battlefront II specifically might be used by accident (unlike 3rd party software) as well. Same for probably all other EA games.
So to really fix that problem, the devs need to release a patch to adress the exploit spots, period. Any other measure would be one that no one profits from.
So either adapt to these saber exploits or forget about playing saber heroes ever again, as your opponents won't be stopped and won't hesitate to use these exploits against you.
Even if you yourself don't want to use the exploits, you'll still need to adapt to it in some way regardless.

@TRlALONNo need to adapt, it's not exactly hard to parry or not spam swing, ironically the people who abuse parrying are also the people who generally spam swing. So if they were to actually get parried they'd become useless. Of course the people that defend parrying generally use it on players not in the know.
Cheating is defined as "act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage" therefore exploiting a bug intentionally is in fact cheating, just like using the hero glitch so your team gets 3 hero's for an unfair advantage. I guess if both players use it, it is no longer cheating, but using it against unsuspecting players that may or may not know about it when it isn't meant to be present in the game at all is cheating.
There's a bunch of people that think it's ok and abuse it regularly. That's cool, there's plenty of ways to play like an absolute a hole on this game. But posting another topic encouraging it is something else.
If people want to become one of the losers that abuse it then cool, but I'm just informing you that you're cheating, there is no argument against that.
