So, I had the bug 2 days ago in strike game mode:
We finished a game on Starkiller Base (where everything was working fine), then we moved to Endor.
I tested several weapons, and none of the attachments were working. Details in Italic below.
- I choose Specialist, my weapon was the NT-242
- Double zoom and cooling attachments not working
- Changed weapons to A280-CFE
- Burst attachment not working (not sure about the cooling)
- Changed class to Officer and SE-44C
- Rapidfire attachment not working (not sure about the cooling)
- Changed the weapon to the Blurrg
- 4 rounds burst and explosive attachment not working
For testing purpose, I didn't unselect/select the attachments until the end of the round.
We lost 1st round, and attachments were still not working for Round 2.
We lost round 2, and then we were back in Endor but on the opposite side.
From here, all attachments were working back again, with no action on my side.
So I guess the issue appears/disappears only at the beginning of a new game (and not a new round).
Also, my friend had the issue at the same time as me, but I'm not sure if it was a coincidence or not.

Great feedback guys
Thank you for the detailed test case. So it seems this may happen from match to match, it does persist if you respawn and even if a round is over. Starting a new match after the BUG was active may fix the issue. So it still seems random in nature, does persist through respawn and turn changing, but it can fix itself on map loading. Maybe there's a trigger, but only one who experiences this BUG oftenly could try to narrow down its cause. I rarely ever play trooper modes, and when I do I'm usually the blurrg officer with ES and the more shots mods, and they never ever failed me.
Turn changing however is a feature only available in Strike. Testing if the BUG persists between map loading / side changing in GA&CS would be great.
I hope DICE take a look at this and get a proper fix ASAP. Despite being a rare BUG, it's not just a drastic one, but it's also very frustrating too. To the unexperienced it can even mean false conclusions on different weapon mods.

Hum, no, in my message the issue appeared at the beginning of the 1st Endor round, so after changing map.
Unless I misunderstood you.- 6 years ago
My bad, I edited the text to make more sense. I meant during match transition. I said that to differentiate it from life transition (respawn), round transition, and map transition, as a respawn can happen many times during a round, 2 or 3 rounds can happen during a match, and up to 2 matches can happen during a map.
