Server Lag and Instant action Lag!

The game is recording my PING as around 24, but it feels much more like 50 - 100 sometimes. Up until a few days ago I have never had such issues, and I can assure you my connection is good, as I do not have problems in other games. Earlier today I was also noticing some occasional severe rubber banding issues in Instant Action, which I was surprised to see considering it is an offline game mode. This server lag is incredibly frustrating as it has not started happening until quite recently and I really want to continue to play the game, however it is very off-putting at the moment. In multiplayer around 26/01/2020, and in Instant Action 28/01/2020 What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) Aproximately 6:00 PM for the first one, and 21:20 for the second one. Playtest instant action for several minutes and you will likely experience this rubber banding issue. Playing multiplayer on PC on EU servers should let you feel the server lag, however I am unsure if this is just happening on the EU servers. What happens when the bug occurs? Multiplayer: Hits take longer to register than normal, players maybe occasionally glitch slightly. The game feels rough and the opposite of smooth to play. Instant Action: The player proceeds to teleport backwards and forwads, along with the rest of the AI and other things glitching for a short period of time, before returning to normal. What do you expect to see? I expect to see the smooth, fluid connection and thus gameplay which I was previously used to. I expect to see no such lag and rubber-banding issues in instant action. Hi @EA_Atic , many thanks for your response.

I use an ethernet cable which is connected to a devlovo adapter which sends a signal to my router wirelessly I believe, so it's technically a hybrid of both. However it is much more reliable and I very very rarely have any ping issues using this connection on other games. This is a difficult issue for me to record, as you are unlikely to see much noticeable difference, however as someone who has done far too much gaming in their time, I can feel that something is definitely wrong as of late. I play on German servers, and am based in the UK. Interestingly, when I look in the EA account section of the game, it always says between 22-24 ping, however it feels much more like 50-100. On battlefield 5 at close to 50 ping, it will feel something like Battlefront 2 does lately, however it will actually show a ping of around 50, so I'm fairly certain the ping status in the game is bugged. I can try to record a video if that would help, however I'm not sure if it would be particularly noticeable, it's more something that I (and many other people) can feel in-game lately. Perhaps a simple restart of the servers or some server maintenance would help to fix this issue? I'm no server expert but as I'm sure you will understand, it's quite frustrating for me, as I want to play the game, but I just keep getting forced to close it down through frustration at the server lag.

Hey&nbsp;@SilentStorm24521&nbsp; would it be possible to have a cabled all the way to the modem just to test?&nbsp;

For the hybrid set up I have tested does my self with very mixed results with stability, it ended up with me dragging a cabled to my room instead.&nbsp;

Videos always help. 🙂&nbsp;

We do quite often server restarts for to have smother experience that should be it.&nbsp;
