Shadowplay Related Lag and Stuttering/Freezing

Hi all, I'm not sure where to post this, I figured this is the right spot but please redirect me if I am wrong.

I have recently been trying to fix my Battlefront 2 and Shadowplay compatibility but I am unable to find any solutions online.

For some reason whenever I have shadowplay running in the background, Battlefront 2 will have random bouts of freezing (see here: https://youtu.be/X1Uh3XwjNi8 ), however runs perfectly fine without shadowplay running at all.

I've never once experienced a crash or stutter (similar to video) once shadowplay is disabled, but as soon as I turn it on, I seem to get stutters once or twice per game (albeit the frequency changes at random).

And while I would normally assume this to be a hardware limitation, I'm able to run Warzone (newest CoD) perfectly fine, with none of the stutters.

If anyone has a solution or even just a possible temporary workaround/fix that would be an immense amount of help.
