South African Battlefront broken matchmaking

For the past month or so the South African matchmaking to Default/UK Ping sites has been completely broken. It has continuously put me in empty Galactic Assault and Supremacy lobbies (PS4). Sometimes I have to wait 10 to 20+ minutes for a lobby to fill up (if it even does). I've seen a few people complain about it on the forums and on twitter recently, have tried getting replies from @EAhelp on twitter without any reply. Could somebody please give any sort of idea of what's happening and if this could be resolved before or with the Scarif update this month? 

It did seem as if the game was fixed for a few days last month but it broke once again. The only consistent lobbies I can find at the moment are Heroes vs Villains. Please assist guys! Every other game including FIFA works perfectly, except BF2 at the moment. 

PS - I tried to connect to German lobbies (and found full ones) but the ping is 195 which is unplayable. It seems the Ireland/UK ping sites are the broken ones and they are the ones with the best ping.
