Spotting Ewoks with flashlight not counting properly

I had two problems.

After the first round, my count was two.  I *think* that was accurate, but I don't have a video.  After the second round, it went to 0.  After that, I just ignored that challenge.

Then, later, I was reviewing a video I did record, and saw what I think clearly should have been an illumination, but it was not counted.  The entire body of the Ewok was lit up once as it jumped towards me (and a bit to my right) and then later just the top of its head.
