Have you tried to play the game with a different controller? I would also suggest to change the controller settings in the game options - sprint should always be mapped to pressing your left stick, but changing it might trigger the action properly.

@EA_Ataashi not sure if he's talking about the bug I'm about to mention but it's a bug caused by Palpatine that disables Sprint. Think it's his dark aura that causes it but it affects most troopers and saber heroes. Only way to be able to Sprint again is to have Palpatine use his dark aura on you again. I've seen it a lot over the weekend in streams and it's a well known bug. Funny enough I only come here to see if anyone else posted this issue and I saw this thread
Can't believe not 1 of the devs have replied to this issue. Here's video evidence of this bug that's been on the game for a long time. At least acknowledging it would be nice. I decided to come back and try this game and I have had this issue a lot this week
Also I believe issues like this is why the population of the game is at an all time low. Never have I seen only 4 people on 1 team in GA if u look at my screenshot

@HomerSpinson It's a shame, I know, but this is the pace of things around here, anything takes at least a month to be mentioned or addressed, unless in a very few and rare occasions.And as I mentioned on that report, I'll bring it here for clarification: There are 3 sprint BUGs that I know of:
1 - (supposedly fixed) Han can get stuck in Sharpshooter's stance, which doesn't allow him to enter sprint mode, and he walks even slower then normally. Using Sharpshooter again fixes the issue;
2 - Palpatine's Dark Aura can cause you to sprint very slowly, like if you were walking or worse. A Day 1 BUG never solved. This is the BUG you mentioned @HomerSpinson , and thanks for providing a method to get rid of it besides dying/respawning, I didnt know that being affected by Dark Aura again would solve the issue. I have a GIF showing this BUG:
3 - You may get your sprint totally disabled. I have no idea what causes this BUG, but this is another of the Day 1 BUGs never solved. I shall have some time to search for the footage I have on this BUG later today and for the entire day tomorrow, so I hope I can find it. The worst about this BUG is that it persists between matches, but I don't remember if it also persists between maps, or even modes. Leaving the application and coming back does solve it. It's a very rare BUG, I experienced it just a couple of times since launch, and I never got to identify what might be its cause. I believe this is the BUG being reproted in both this report and in the one I linked.
Hey buddy, it happens usually on GA but I have seen it happen on H v V. I know you're saying about giving them over a month to be addressed but like u said this bug has been around for a long time and it's a game changing bug. Really wish they would just concentrate on fixing issues like this and put any future new content on hold
