Squadrons vs BF2
I've seen both and all I got to say is Squadrons makes BF2 fighters look like a bad joke. It really is sad.

@MiniPlate990253I think that's not a fair comparison to begin with.
From what I know about Squadrons, it's a game specialized and purely made for the flight combat and gameplay so that it'd be rather accurate to compare it with games like HawX.
BF II is a Battlefield style game that serves as an jack of all trade to throw all the infantry and vehicle gameplay in one pot while keeping it in a manner that all soldier/vehicle types are each still equally accessable and playable in a rather convenient way.
That's also why you shouldn't compare e.g. Battlefield 3 to World of Tanks if you want to rate tank gameplay.
@TRlALON Agreed. BF2 is a jack-of-all-trades game, with a main focus on ground FPS. The ship gameplay is really fun, but it isn't the main aspect of the game. SQUADRONS has ship gameplay as its main focus, so obviously its going to be a more in-depth and fun experience, because that is what that whole game is focused on.
@AkiraSpectrumYeah, the starfighter only mode is just a niche and not a very popular one to not say the least.
Also the starfighters are not only balanced and designed around starfighter combat, but also in consideration of other vehicle and soldier encounters, same concept applies to heroes.
