Ok i was having the same issues, played for an hour than came back to play the game again and kept getting a black screen with sound.
My fix
go to documents folder located and delete the battlefront ll folder there.
the game recreates the file as needed
now the game is working again.
As for you EA! You guys are bad man, it is not ok be selling us games that have these issues, I have this issue now with both startwars games and battlefield
I had to revert my windows from version 1709 to 1703 and my problem was resolved.
how do I do that
I've got the same problem with Windows 10 Creators Update and AMD R9 390.
How did you go back to the 1703 compilation? I'm really sure that the problem is for the Creator Update.

loading into the game clicking on the windows shuts off signals to my screen
