Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017) gives black screen for 3 seconds, then crashes

When starting the game, I am given a window (attached) that is all black for about 3 seconds. Then it crashes and opens origin as if nothing happened. I unfortunately don't get an error message, but ...

Thank you, deleting the folder plus not having origin enabled whilst playing worked a treat.

I had to revert my windows from version 1709 to 1703 and my problem was resolved.

I've got the same problem with Windows 10 Creators Update and AMD R9 390.
How did you go back to the 1703 compilation? I'm really sure that the problem is for the Creator Update.

  loading into the game clicking on the windows shuts off signals to my screen
  if i alt tab back screen comes back on
  can u fix ur game lol glad i didnt buy it
