Star Wars Battlefront II - Invalid code

I recently bought a PS4 Game of this, upgraded the game and tried entering the code from the game case, The Yoda's light saber mastery and The Last Jedi Heroes to unlock exclusive outfits and such but didn't work in PS Store and EA Redeem Codes. Please Help.

Who did you buy the game from?

Which upgrade did you buy and from where?

How do you know it's a valid upgrade code? Sadly, there are a lot of invalid codes being sold.

Were you able to play the game before trying to upgrade?
