Star Wars Battlefront II Co op

It would appear that the co-op option in this game, is at best, the worst experience I have had in a game. How is it that it is co-op when I will have to join other random people as well? Without the option of ever being able to make a private room? Yes, I am aware mods exist, however, is it not expected from a huge gaming company to do its best to incorporate basic things such as these into games? Or is it that we will now need to pay in order for us to have what at one time, was considered basic?? It is not always fun to have to have co-op missions where I will need to join random people in a party, or have a random person joined in mine. Without the option of having a private game. What is the difference then between multiplayer and co-op? Just because you may want it to mean something else does not ever mean it will change the meaning of both. Even in multiplayer, options are to be expected. Yet we do not see those either. Making this game one of the worst games to play online.
