I'm not sure why this was never added to BFII. Myself and many others simply do not like pvp. Tried to enjoy it, but just isn't fun constantly looking at a countdown timer to respawn after getting cannon fodder'd for the 15th time by a triple digit veteran. I absolutely love coop with other people, but would be cool to experience space battles too since that's part of what I paid for. Is there any hope for this getting added in the future?
Criterion stopped working on it after around late 2018,they just left on it 2 work on squadrons.
Then who was working on content updates for the game? Didn't they just release one not too long ago? Maybe they just don't care so people will scratch their itch with Squadrons..
Besides, this isn't even really a content update I'm talking about, more of a fix. As not only is pvp not preferable for coop people but I consistently have to wait in a lobby for 10min to get a group to play (in the US no less). 24 is too much. I wish it would just start with an even number (10, 12, 14 or whatever). I feel like the mode is dead because of it. Well, that and the insanely good vets with epic cards.
Everything you said makes sense and would be total endless fun. That's why EA/Dice didn't create that experience. No room for grind and micro transaction. I mean the writing was on the wall for this games development, and it had nothing to do with players having fun. If a game like that was made who ever made it would sell millions of copies, isn't that enough money in return? No, EA wants ALL of your money, and will manipulate players imaginary "need to be the best" psychology to the evilest extent.
