Still no fix for Xbox Controller issues hardwired to PC. Steps attempted inside.

My Xbox One controller is always hardwired into the usb port

I have logged at least 4 hours in the game with no issues, just like I used to play on the console version.

Suddenly, the following:

Only the right thumbstick moves a mouse cursor that was never there before.

A button only works sometimes.

The start button is the main selector input.

no other controller input registers.

The controller works fine on other games, such as Titanfall.

What I've tried:

I was recommended to turn off Origin Overlay, but it already was off. So no effect.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. No effect.

I have reinstalled Windows 10

Controllers drivers are up to date.

Changing usb cables. No effect.

Changing usb ports. No effect

Changing Controllers. No effect
Steam Controller settings seem to be fine.

Discord overlay is disabled.

Please help! I'm all out of ideas, and I really want to join my friends now that they picked up this game!
