Still not fixed as of today's update, and it is not mentioned in the patch notes under the "known issues", either.
This is something that you guys should focus on, we've opened numerous threads on this (I've had one, too), this has been happening since the 1st Han Solo update (May), so I guess that's where you messed something up.
I am on Xbox One X, and this is a very frequent problem, not just a minor annoyance (I'd say 7 out of 10 times, returning to the main menu is impossible). For me, most of the time, it is not a black screen, but the regular loading screen getting stuck, you can only notice it by looking at the top right corner's loading lines - if the animation is not playing, you're done. At rare occasions, it gets through the loading screen, and gets stuck on a black one.
At times quitting the game does not even fix the problem, because then it "kills" the OneX, making the dashboard laggy, like the whole thing is like 10 FPS - resulting in a full console reboot.
... But I've already reported these, numerous times now. Fix it, please.
- This just happened to me. On Xbox One.
I have had this happen twice today on xbox one x. Once leaving extraction and again leaving starfighter assault. This issue needs to be fixed. I shouldn't have to completely quit a game and restart it just to play a different mode.
Can someone please update us on the status of the fix for this issue? It has been going on for far too long.
