Suggestion – Remove Player Count Minimums for Modes with AI/NPC Support
Hi EA team and fellow players,
As someone who’s still actively playing Star Wars Battlefront II, it’s been increasingly frustrating to see the game’s multiplayer experience stall—not due to bugs or performance, but because of population decline.
Many of us are still passionate about this game. But trying to jump into certain modes and being met with “17 more players needed” is disheartening—especially for modes that already support AI/NPCs. Sitting in empty lobbies, knowing those numbers won’t be reached anytime soon, is not a fun experience. It’s a quiet death for great game modes.
Request:
Please consider removing or dramatically reducing the minimum player count requirement on modes that already support bots. Let the match begin with however many players are present, and fill the rest with AI. The game already handles AI well in Instant Action and Co-Op—this could breathe new life into underplayed modes.
We understand the game isn’t being actively developed anymore, but even a small quality-of-life change like this would make a massive difference for the loyal community that’s still here.
Thanks for reading,
A hopeful player who just wants to blast some clankers again
