The Dauntless - glitch

What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug During the second mission of the campaign - to destroy the ion cannons - I can't destroy the third ion cell. I destroy the first two and clear the room of Rebels, but the third cell stays in the roof instead of extending down. A little blue icon appears when I approach it, telling me to 'interact', but I can't, even if I press the 'interact' button.

I've tried shooting at the cell and lobbing grenades at it, but to no avail

One xbox one I solved this issue as mentioned above, too. Actually I can't provide a photo as it was so quick. There are the steps I did
- make sure to pick up the explosives from the box
- Go right under the cooling cell
- aim at the blue mark
- hold x button a while
- repeat last three steps until you hear a noise and a circle with the x button pops up

As you can see, player needs to plant explosives on the ion cannon core that used to lower down, but it doesn't anymore because of some issue.

If you stand in front of it the white circle is in the cloud of smoke below the interact indicator. This worked for me, though the animation did not show her planting the detonator it did get past to progress to the next stage.

Hi. I got this as well. It does work getting right underneath and hitting "use" until the circle fills. This is completely non-obvious and I only found out how to do that here. Here is a screenshot of what happens afterwards ...

FOR XBOX. I had the same problem it took me for ever to solve it. I had to go get a century gun and place it as close as possible under the interact symbol. Then climb on top of it. Once on top I had to hold A and X buttons ( the jump and interact buttons). Then it worked and loaded to the next screen.
