The difference between newbies and veterans...
... is that the entitlement, arrogance and toxicity is really strong in some of the latter. (PC)
Change my mind.
Even though these people tend to be a minority within the veterans, it didn't go unnoticed for me that when servers were filled with almost just new players on supremacy mode, I only experienced friendly messages in the chat, while the people just focused on playing the game without shenanigans.
Not even emoting or teabagging for killing a hero.
Guess how the matches of today with a bit more pros went.
Responding to someones "gl, have fun" messages with something about their mum, complaining because someone dared to interrupt their convenient 150 hero killstreak, team blaming, blaming noobs, complaining because a noob took that hero slot, excessive spawnkilling in the ship phase, complaining about my team mates just being lucky after getting killed as hero once again and getting all defensive when called out for that.
Note that this comes from like lvl 700 pros, not the usual random trashtalkers, who really are good at this game and could just be happy about that.
For real, I just started to spend a bit more time with people of my skill and experience level or above and I'm already fed up with them again.
I get it, you're the only good player in the world and everyone else from your team is just meant to make way or pull chestnuts out of the campfire for you.
And still someone killed you or you're not winning the match. Deal with it.
No one owes you easy kills/victories.
It's simply called Battlefront, not Front of Entitlement.
Anyone else feeling like some people should remember that it's just a game?
