The game won't launch. Missing files and folders from documents folder. Pls help
I have Bf2 on the EA app. A few weeks ago when I went to play, the Ea app would close and then open again. I know the problem is with the game and not the Ea app, because other games work. I did some research and I was told to edit the boot options file in Documents/STAR WARS Battlefront II/settings, but there is no boot options there. Another problem is that there is only the settings folder in Documents/STAR WARS Battlefront II, nothing else. I have tried moving the folder to desktop and repairing, clearing cashe and reinstalling, moving the game to a different drive. If someone could tell me how to fix this issue, or send the Documents/STAR WARS Battlefront II folder that would be great.
Did you reinstall as an administrator?
"I know the problem is with the game and not the Ea app" - Just because another game is working and this one isn't, does not mean it's unrelated to EA app. EA is working through multiple issues associated with switching existing games (like this one) from Origin to EA app. In fact, you may want to check out this post and provide the requested detail.
