@MasterPadwan77 I know what you said but much of what you’re mentioning as issues are client based not server based.
Hero, villain, trooper class, & enforcer attributes are all client issues. Mechanics and mechanical interactions can be more server side.
Hero & villain stat imbalances aren’t server aspects. Mechanical resolution is but that’s not a balance issue that’s a whole separate issue that exists.
@MasterPadwan77 Yes, server side adjustments will change how the server interacts with players. This is where mechanical resolution will come in (ie input resolution & prioritization, etc).
BF 2 is not a full server side compilation; much of the asset and attribute data are client side. While the server has to resolve the gameplay much of the games imbalance isn’t due to sever resolution; it’s in the game compilation itself. This is why the GG claw rush had to be a distributable patch; not merely a server side update.
There’s a fine line in this game between where the garbage server handling ends and the bad programming begins. Even if you were to fix the server issues it wouldn’t fix all of these issues because you’d have to adjust game parameters and deploy to the clients.
The bad server state does contribute to jenky gameplay we’re seeing; just don’t think that’s the main or only reason why.
